Jaysen,
thank you so much for creating this! i look forward to our many conversations and thought provoking ideas!
well, i guess ill be the first to venture out and announce an idea that popped into my head as I was driving home from work tuesday.
i was thinking of all of my questions i had been giving throughout all the beauty pageants i have done, and one of them was something along the lines of “what do you think is the best invention and why.” so i was in my car trying to think of a better answer than the one i gave and one that wasnt generic like the internet or car.
That was when it dawned on me how incredibly thankful I am for the invention of the camera. Imagine a world without any pictures. All we could rely on would be artistic imagery. To never see the eiffel tower, the golden gate bridge, alaska’s glaciers, underwater fish and coral reefs! it blew my mind how I was able to at least know what was out there, thanks to such an invention. I realized how small my world would be, how narrow my mind would be able to spread, and how ignorant I would remain toward the very place I call home. I wouldnt remember what I looked like when i was little, memories of my family and I at disneyland, and even smaller things like my fourth grade sugar cube castle project. Without a camera my very own history would in a way be erased. That blows my mind!
Just another thing to think about and be thankful for among a billion other things, but I just was so astounded by the idea that I thought I would share. Hope it makes you think too!

thank YOU, for sharing Wojo : )
we overlook so much of what we are blessed with…partly because we are just so used to it. it has become a “given’ in our privileged culture to have such things…that we often forget or are simply unaware of these seemingly simple gifts.
thank you for the reminder to open our eyes a little wider in recognition and our hearts a lot wider with gratitude.
peace & love, my friend!
